A bit about myself… I am an American who has been living here in the UK for nearly 10 years! Wow! I can hardly believe it, where has time gone? A few years ago my neighbor encouraged me to join a sewing group to help “keep the numbers up” so the group could continue. This is where my passion for quilting began! I primarily am self taught, I started by following patterns out of a magazine. That first christmas I bought my first sewing machine and the following christmas took my love of quilting a step further and began designing my own quilts using EQ5.
Last year Electric Quilt offered members of Info-EQ the opportunity to design the cover of the EQ6. I sent in a design that I personally loved but never expected it would have been chosen! The outside border is made up of Nautical flags that reads “Electric Quilt Software Designs”. When I was notified that my design would be included on the cover I just could not believe it! I am so proud to have such an awesome company validate my work in this way. Keep an eye on my blog because this quilt is on the top of my “to make” list after I complete a few more UFO’s.
